As such, we have the right to consent or not consent to certain information about us being known to other people. Some information is incredibly personal and sensitive and is often referred to as \u201cspecial category\u201d data and the latter three in the list above can be classed as this kind of information. What this means is that the impact on anybody where this kind of information has potentially been exposed could be substantial.<\/p>\n<p>Arden University has confirmed that it does not believe that any financial information has been affected by the data breach and that this is not a case of the systems or servers being compromised.
