We accepted cases immediately, and we continue to do so.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the LOQBOX data breach<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Victims of the LOQBOX data breach were first notified that their information had been exposed due to a cyberattack on 20<sup>th<\/sup> February 2020.<\/p>\n<p>LOQBOX had previously admitted that it may be hard to identify the full extent of those whose data has been hacked, and information exposed includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Names;<\/li>\n<li>Email and postal addresses;<\/li>\n<li>Telephone numbers;<\/li>\n<li>Dates of birth;<\/li>\n<li>Some payment card data, which may include digits of the long 16-digit card number and the expiration date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the wrong hands, this kind of information is more than enough for people to fall victim to serious crimes, including theft and identity fraud.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Claiming compensation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Victims of the LOQBOX data breach can be entitled to make a claim for compensation with us as part of the legal action that we\u2019ve launched.
